How do I change the CMYK color format to atleast 300 dpi in MicroSoft Picture It?

When you go to save the picture you should be able to select a dpi. If not, you should have been able to select a resolution when you first created the image. CMYK should not have anything to do with it since that is just the color palette and you are talking about resolution here.
