How to change dpi for two accounts?
I found out this if you care to read it. You cannot, as far as was able to find out, have different printer settings on the same machine at the same time.

How can you change the printer's default standard settings so that you don't need to change them each time you print a document?

Windows 2000/XP or above has the per-user printer setting and default global(or system) standard printer settings. An application is restricted to the global default printer settings. To print a document in a different way, the user has to change the settings manually for each application each time it is launched. To change the printer default settings for the currently logged-in user globally:

1.Open the Printers folder(Start %26gt; Printers and Faxes), right click on the printer, and select Printing Preferences

2.Use the Layout tab, Paper/Quality tab, and the Advanced tab to set various options such as paper size, DPI, and color mode.

3.Once you have finished changing the settings, click the Apply button.

4.Close and reopen your application for the changes to take effect.

  • How can I save a file at 300 dpi in Roxio Photosuite 4?

I use Roxio Photosuite 4 for my photos. When I open an image that's 300 dpi, then make adjustments, then save it, the resulting resolution for the new image changes to 96 dpi. I've tried many suggestions, from saving it as a tiff with no compression to saving it as a bitmap. But I don't see any options available for saving the file at the same resolution. It seems like it would automatically default to the same resolution as the original, especially since I'm not changing the vertical or horizontal size. Please keep in mind, this is specific to PhotoSuite, NOT Photoshop, so answers related to Photoshop will probably not apply. Any help would be appreciated! How can I save a file at 300 dpi in Roxio Photosuite 4?
Don't worry about the DPI. It is not important. The only thing that determines a photos resolution is the Pixel Dimensions.

If you really must change the DPI because someone else (maybe your boss) thinks it is important then make sure you turn off resampling (sometimes it is called resize image) before you enter the new value.

But otherwise you can just ignore the DPI. It will not be considered by the browser which usually displays at 96 DPI regardless of the images DPI setting. And these days it is not used for determining the size of a print.

This is an excellent resource that it explains it much better than I can:

    My internet fonts have changed...?

I turned on my computer and everthing was super big. I changed my DPI back to 96 (I don't really know how it got changed in the first place). But now my sidebar icons are still extra big and so are all the websites on the internet. I've checked everything to make sure it's set to default and it is, so now I'm confused and a bit aggravated...Please help.My internet fonts have changed...?

How can I change an internet image to 300 DPI?

Display it on a device that has a resolution equivalent to 300DPI.

    Like a 1 inch by 1 inch LCD with a resolution of 300pixels x 300pixels

How can I change an internet image to 300 DPI?

The person who owns the copyright on the image probably put it there as a small file to keep it from being pirated. Contact the photographer and ask permission to use it. If they let you use it they can send you a file at a higher resolutionHow can I change an internet image to 300 DPI?
You can't, unless it's already at least 300 dpi to begin with.

Wait, actually there is a way, but it involves making the image very tiny.

People put up low-res images to protect their intellectual property. They don't want people stealing their images. I'm sure they own high-res images. If you want to pay them for one, I'm sure they'll negotiate with you.How can I change an internet image to 300 DPI?
you need to contact the IMF (impossible manipulation force)

or bring it up on your screen and shoot it with a holga then it will be an acceptable lomo picture

i(I)nternet image doesnt mean anything i can send images over the net at any resolution if you mean a 72ppi or 96ppi image it cant be done to produce a quality pic
It can be done, but probably not in the way you're hoping. By internet image, I'm supposing you mean a low-resolution (72dpi) jpeg file. If you have Adobe Photoshop, you can change the resolution, which will make it a bigger file, but not much clearer. other than that, there is almost no way. The images are small on the internet for a reason - quick loading and no stealing.

How can i change the resolution ?

Im not sure what the resolution on my Fujifilm Finepix Z20 fd is right now, but my graphics teacher says if were using digital pictures we need to make sure its set to 300 DPI. How do i change the resolution? How can i change the resolution ?
DPI is a print term, nothing you can set on your camera.

Make sure your camera is set to its highest possible resolution (xxxx pixels by xxxx pixels, or x.x megapixels), then you change the DPI setting in your image editor (i.e. Photoshop or whatever you use).

Resize pics for print or online?

I am using a canon rebel and the pictures are huge. I am trying to figure out how I resize the pictures and still keep the quality and resolution? I have searched everywhere and I guess I am just not understanding. I do not understand the HUGE numbers 3888x2500? how does that translate when I want to still keep the quality of my pictures? when I want to print them - I have to change the dpi from 72 to 300 - or like - I am trying to do a clip in windows movie maker - but the pictures look blurry - they don't look blurry when I just look at them on my computer?Resize pics for print or online?
With this software http://imageconverterplus.com/ you can set all the desired parameters when you resize your images. Maybe this link will be helpful: http://imageconverterplus.com/help-cente With Canon Rebel you might be dealing with RAW format - it means you'd better convert your photos to JPEG files which I think you can also do with this software. RAW files are always huge. But even if your files are JPEG files, just set the parameters you want, and I think some of the common profiles will be already included in the program. And one more link I found for you: this is how to prepare your images for print: http://www.imageconverterplus.com/help-cResize pics for print or online?
try and change the image resolution to be the same one as the movie you are making.that should work. and play around with the movie export settings in movie maker.
Try to use this picture resizing tool http://www.softorbits.com/batch_picture_ It works well!
