How do i make photo that is 185 dpi become a photo that is 150 dpi?

i am attempting to post some of my artwork online and it will not allow me to upload ANYTHING because all of my photos are 185 dpi.

Now, if I can't use those then what about changing my CAMERA so that all of my photos from HERE ON are 150 dpi MAX.



Please Help a struggling artist in the need for knowledge....

The best way to change dpi or ';resolution'; is with an image-editing program like Photoshop. If that is not available to you, it may be possible to set your camera resolution to ';low'; or whatever the smallest setting is, and it may output your images to 72dpi (the standard for on-screen viewing). However, without info on your camera, it's impossible to say how this might be done.How do i make photo that is 185 dpi become a photo that is 150 dpi?
What's your camera? If we don't know we don't know if it is adjustable.



Use photo editing software like photoshop and crop it to 150 dpi:

-. open photo in photoshop

-. select crop tool (or press shift C)

-. in the upper bar you can type the resolution and size you

want

-. select the whole picture with the crop tool

-. hit enter

-. save the picture: file-save as... (or press shift+control+s)
