DPI is not relevant here, only as a measurement in print sizes.

What you really need to do is resize them in terms of the pixel dimensions. This can be done in the File -%26gt; Export menu. How do I change the dpi of a photo?
if you want to change the dpi of the image, you can do this using softwares like Adobe Photoshop or Irfanview.

When you are using adobe photo shop then first load the image whose dpi you want to change. First go to image size menu option(Image -%26gt; Resize -%26gt; -%26gt;Image Size). Then a Image size window is opened where you have to deselect the ';Resample Image'; option. In the resolution box enter the dpi that you want. then click ok and save your image with a new name.

If you are using Irfanview software then load the image whose dpi you want to change using irfanview. Then select the ';Image Resize/Resample'; option. A new window is opened where enter the dpi that you want to enter. Click ok button and save as your photo.
