In Photoshop open your image and go to Image %26gt; Image Size in the toolbar.
Under ';Document Size'; enter 300 in the Resolution field (pixels/inch).
If your image is currently less than 300 dpi it may become blurry / pixelated.

How do I change dpi settings on photos from photoshop CS3 or Paint?
I have to send in a portfolio to SCAD university online and there are very specific settings for the pictures. I don't know how to change dpi.How do I change dpi settings on photos from photoshop CS3 or Paint?
