I was told I had scan it to 300 dpi minimum and my digital artwork is 8 x 11.5 inches. Does this mean I have to print out my artwork an then scan it back in at 300 dpi? or is there something I can do in photoshop that would allow me to change the dpi?How do you change resolution to 300 dpi?

When you scan the image, set the resolution to 300 DPI.
